Tim Levin

Tim Levin

Founder And Chief Executive Officer

While growing up in New York City, Tim attended The Horace Mann School for fifteen years. After graduating from Yale College in 1993, he taught at a boarding school in Massachusetts and then at The Fieldston School in the Bronx. Prior to starting his tutoring business, he worked in the corporate offices of Kaplan Test Prep helping to train teachers and write course curricula. He is an adjunct professor in the Science Department of SUNY’s Fashion Institute of Technology. Tim holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Teachers College.

Dan Cozzens

Dan Cozzens

Chief Operating Officer

While at Philadelphia’s Germantown Friends School, Dan won a National Merit Scholarship and the Senior Award. At Harvard he received his B.A. cum laude in Biological Anthropology, served as President of the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club, and won the Louise Donovan Award for outstanding contributions in the arts. Dan has tutored with Bespoke in NYC for more than ten years, working with students on the SAT and ACT exams and on the ISEE, SSAT and SHSAT tests. He also tutors Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and all levels of mathematics for high school coursework. His all-around expertise (including in History, English, Writing, and Spanish) has supported his significant work for Bespoke in homework and organizational help. As Bespoke’s Chief Operating Officer he oversees the hiring, training, and management of tutors, family feedback, and the recording and sharing of Bespoke’s institutional experience and best practices to optimally support all of Bespoke’s tutors and families in their ongoing educational goals.

Lorenzo Krakowsky

Lorenzo Krakowsky

Chief Schools Officer

Lorenzo grew up in San Francisco and New York City, where he attended international schools. He has taught History, Spanish and French and served as the Dean of Students at Fieldston and Head of Upper School at Calhoun, as well as Head of School at The Portfolio School. At Bespoke, Lorenzo oversees all school partnerships and programs, including Bespoke Education Access. He had a BA in History from Vassar College and an MS.Ed in Educational Leadership from Bank Street College of Education.

Chip Beck

Chip Beck

Chief Technology Officer

Chip is a graduate of The Fieldston School and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design. Chip is a highly-skilled web and database developer, who has built from scratch a multi-layered database customized for Bespoke that allows us to interact with parents, students, and tutors in an unprecedented manner. Student progress on mock tests and throughout all tutoring sessions is tracked so that Bespoke can give students a personalized experience that is second-to-none. Chip is the creative force behind Bespoke’s ability to communicate via the internet with our clients and staff, and he is constantly adding to Bespoke’s technological capabilities.

Peter Stadlen

Peter Stadlen

General Manager

Peter is a New York City native who attended the Bank Street School and graduated from Fieldston. After attending Emerson College in Boston, Peter followed in his family’s footsteps and acted at some of the top theaters in the country. For nearly a decade, Peter has managed many functions at Bespoke: he is Bespoke’s foremost liaison to all of its U.S. families, setting up tutor-student pairings for families across the country, coordinating mock testing and classes at Bespoke’s multiple offices, and following up with tutors and families to make sure that tutoring is going well. Peter’s familiarity with Bespoke’s families, tutors, and procedures helps ensure the personalized touch that Bespoke is known for.

Zachary Fox

Zachary Fox

Director, Bespoke Paris

Zachary grew up in New York City, where he attended The Fieldston School. After graduating with honors in Political Science from Lehigh University, he worked for a production company in Manhattan which created programming for the ESPN network. Later, he produced documentaries for a series that received two Emmy awards. Simultaneously, he worked at the New York offices of Bespoke Education for several years. After receiving a Masters Degree in Documentary Studies from the New School in NYC, he moved to Paris where he continues to make documentaries. Zachary has worked for Bespoke Education for more than six years and is currently the Director of Bespoke Education’s program in Paris.

Elan Naveh

Elan Naveh

Director Of Programs

Elan grew up in New York, where he attended The Fieldston School and graduated from Stuyvesant High School. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Northwestern University, with a specialization in Genetics and Molecular Biology. During his college years, he did extensive laboratory work in physiology and endocrinology. Since 2005, Elan has been tutoring biology, math and all sections of the SAT and ACT. Elan works full-time in our Upper East Side office, analyzing standardized tests and developing Bespoke’s test prep books and curricula.

Jermaine Smith

Jermaine Smith

Accounting Manager

Jermaine is responsible for all accounting and bookkeeping functions including billing/invoicing, reimbursements, payroll and maintenance of financial and HR records/systems. Jermaine is a graduate of Baruch’s College’s Zicklin School of Business where he obtained a BBA in Accounting. He also holds a MS in Information Systems from Pace University. Jermaine began his professional career at Seligman Data Corporation in roles ranging from Staff Accountant to Assistant Controller. Jermaine has a passion for education and is particularly interested in the academic development of special needs learners. He lives with his beautiful wife, Jirrel and 2 wonderful children, Joshua and Jasmine.

MaLeeKa Saunders

MaLeeKa Saunders

Mock Testing Director

MaLeeKa grew up in New York City and earned a BA in Linguistics from the University at Albany, focusing on etymology, Latin, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic. MaLeeKa joined Bespoke in 2013 as a proctor, and subsequently took on the role of Mock Testing Coordinator. As Bespoke’s Mock Testing Director, MaLeeKa conducts the hiring, training, and supervision of proctors, and is responsible for the quality of Bespoke’s mock testing program.

Gary Jaffe

Tutor Manager

Gary attended Yale University where he graduated cum laude with distinction in Theatre Studies and received the Richard B. Sewall Cup for outstanding scholarly achievement with creative promise. Hailing originally from Austin, TX, Gary has extensive teaching and tutoring experience, including middle and high school English, math, history, Spanish, Latin, and college application prep. Gary has an exceptional combination of emotional and analytical intelligence, and has a significant track record of academic and exam success with his students. Gary’s specialty is empowering and energizing students to do their best work in school and on the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT, and many AP Exams. As Tutor Manager, Gary guides other tutors in their implementation of best practices for the success of their students.

Sara Schubert

Sara Schubert

Director of Operations, Bespoke Education Access

Sara grew up outside Philadelphia where she attended Villa Maria Academy. She received a B.A. from Wake Forest University. Since graduating from college, she has taught English at the secondary level and has also served as a general manager and director for two swim schools, including Asphalt Green in Battery Park City, where she focused on training, customer service, growth strategy, and curriculum development. In her current role as Tutoring Services Associate, she serves as liaison between tutors and families, facilitating holistic experiences for all Bespoke families.

Tiffany Grant

Tiffany Grant

Director of Private School Programs and Bespoke Classes

Tiffany moved to New York City, where she studied Psychology with a concentration in Addiction at the University of Southern New Hampshire. Tiffany has a background in customer service, administrative coordination, counseling and mentorship work, and advocacy at the congressional level. Tiffany joined Bespoke in 2015 as a proctor and has previously served as a Mock Testing Coordinator and Mock Testing Assitant Director. As the Director of Class, Tiffany is responsible for maintaining the relationships between Independent and Private Schools and the teachers and tutors who instruct the students. Tiffany works to expand Bespoke’s presence in the landscape of extracurricular involvement and identify opportunities to advance students’ abilities during the school year and the summer.

Emily Levine

Emily Levine

K-8 Director

Emily currently serves as the K-8 Director after successfully developing and teaching a learning pod last year. She has held a variety of positions in both public and independent schools, recently acting as a learning specialist and English Teacher at Whitby School in Greenwich, Connecticut and previously functioning as a classroom teacher for students in grades K-7. She received a B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University and an M.S. Ed. from Bank Street College of Education.
